Six cruise ships have arrived at Southampton Port today – bringing millions to the local economy.

It includes some of the world’s most famous liners, like Cunards newest ship - The Queen Elizabeth - and its sister Queen Victoria, as well as P&O Cruises' Arcadia ship.

The other three in port are Fred Olsen's Balmoral and Black Watch, and Saga Cruises' Saga Ruby.

It’s the first time this many cruise ships have been together in the Port for about 50 years and around 18000 people will be getting on and off the ships in the space of a few hours. It's estimated each time a ship arrives, it's worth around £1.5Million to the local economy because of passengers using things like shops, hotels and restaurants

The ships are due to leave the city between 4.30pm and 8pm.
