Southampton Family Keep Being Targeted

Police are investigating after a series of crimes against one family in Southampton.

In each case the cars of various members of the family have been damaged while parked in Foundry Lane, Shirley.
 
Officers are also looking at whether the attacks may be racially motivated.
 
There have been at least 10 cases over the last 18 months where damage such as tyres being slashed or wing mirrors being smashed has occurred. However most of the cases have only recently been brought to the attention of police with thelatest having happened sometime between December 9 -13 when a tyre was slashed on a Mazda belonging to a 43-year-old man.
 
Police are appealing for any information about who may be responsible or anyone who may have witnessed the crimes or seen people hanging around suspiciously in the area to contact them.
