Police are investigating after a man died when his three-wheeled motorcycle hit a tree in Hampshire.
The 72-year-old from Waterlooville, was riding a Suzuki trike north on Beacon Hill Lane towards Warnford.
At around 1.20pm on Sunday 21 July, the vehicle came off the road close to the junction with Sailors Lane and struck a tree.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Darren Ord from Hampshire Constabulary's Roads Policing unit said:
"The man was riding as part of an organised ride-out this afternoon when, for some reason, his vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
"We are investigating the cause of the collision but there is nothing to suggest at this time that the riding was speeding or driving dangerously.
"I'd like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the trike prior to it."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting Operation Sandbox.
