Two Arrested After Dad Of Ten Dies

Police have arrested two men over the death of a Hampshire dad at a skip hire firm in West Sussex.

66 year old Lindsay Campbell from Waterlooville died after falling about 30 ft (10m) from the bucket of an excavator.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence over his death on 25th July 2012.

The father of 10 children had been working at South Coast Skips, on Rudford Industrial Estate, in Ford.

The men, aged 62 and 26, and from Hampshire, were later released on bail.

On 7 September, two other men, aged 47 and 50, from West Sussex, were also arrested and bailed on suspicion of the same offence.

Sussex Police said the investigation into Mr Campbell's death was being carried out by detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team with the support of the Health and Safety Executive.
