An innocent woman has been punched in the face after being caught up in a fight on a train to Pengam.
Detectives are investigating the assault which happened on a service from Cardiff Central.
A group of five or six men got on the train, at either Caerphilly or Llanbradach, and started to fight among themselves.
The woman tried to move to a different seat, but inadvertently ended up being hit in the face.
She was left with minor cuts and bruises and broken glasses between 10.40pm and 11.45pm on 9th November.
