Police search for attacker after train assault on teenage girl

Police are looking for a suspect after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a train from Cardiff on the day Wales beat France in the Six Nations.

The 16-year-old girl got on a train from Cardiff Queen Street to Llanbradach.

A man inappropriately touched the girl several times as they were both stood in the aisle while passengers got off the train at Llanbradach.

Police say the victim was left distraught by the incident that happened around 8pm on 17th March.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image.

"They believe he may have information which could help the investigation.
