The family of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who died suddenly in Caerphilly have paid tribute to a "beautiful person".
Shauna Davies died in the early hours of Sunday shortly after emergency services were called to the Caerphilly area of south Wales.
"Shauna was a beautiful person inside and out, always bubbly, genuine and loyal to everyone,'' the teenager's family said in a statement.
"She was loved by so many people, she loved her brother and sister and friends and was fiercely loyal to them. She will be missed by so many.
"We were very proud parents. Fly high, our beautiful daughter."
Gwent Police are investigating the circumstances of Shauna's death and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
Four people who were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs have been released pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Brain, who is leading the investigation, said: "At this time, inquiries are ongoing and the investigation into this young girl's death are still in the early stages.
"During our work, we will be looking into whether any substances have been a contributing factor into this incident, however this is just one of our lines of inquiry at this time.
"Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time."
