Wales international Emyr Huws has signed a new deal with Ipswich Town.
The midfielder has signed a four-year deal to to Portman Road from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old started his career as a youth player with Swansea, before signing a professional contract with Manchester City.
He spent the second half of last season on loan to Ipswich from the Bluebirds, scoring three goals in 13 games for the Tractor Boys, including a winning goal at Aston Villa.
Town boss Mick McCarthy said, "We are delighted to have got the deal done. I’m sure the fans are thrilled as well.
"Emyr was outstanding for us last season. He was arguably our best player along with Tom Lawrence and he certainly made us a better team. “He’s only 23 so there is improvement in him.
"I’m sure other clubs would have been interested in him but we’re delighted he’s back with us. He was different class when he was here."
A statement from Cardiff City has wishes "Emyr all the very best of luck for the future".
