Lord Mayor's Day In Plymouth

This popular annual event will again be taking place, welcoming the new Lord Mayor into their role. 'Plymouth's Hidden History' is the theme for this year's Lord Mayor's Day and will see the whole city centre come alive in a celebration of music, fun and a colourful carnival costumed procession.

The day will include a walking parade from Plymouth University, through the city centre finishing on the Piazza, where a programme of local entertainment will be taking place.

A programme of entertainment will take place on the main stage underneath the Big Screen, with local community groups, dancers and singers performing between 10am and 4pm.

There will also be numerous community and charity stalls to visit in Armada Way and New George Street, as well as a History Trail for the family to get involved in.

Heart will be hosting the event and the Heart Angels will be there too !
