A 12-year-old boy's been assaulted after being grabbed by a man when he was riding his bike.
It happened last Friday (3rd June) on Ehringshausen Way in Haverhill at some time between 11am and 11.30am as he was cycling near the sports ground. He was riding his bike on the pavement when he approached the man and a woman. He rode onto the grass to avoid them, but the man grabbed him and shouted at him. The boy called his mother on his mobile and the man was also abusive to her. The man threw the boy's phone on the floor and the boy picked it up and left.
The man is described as white, around 60 years old and was wearing a cream hat, shorts, shoes with white straps, long white socks and glasses. The woman is described as in her 20s, of large build and was wearing a black top.
Calls in relation to this incident should be made to PC Matthew Dale at Haverhill Police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
