Police have arrested a man after a bomb scare at a building which meant the surrounding area had to be cordoned off for 3 hours.
The 20-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested yesterday afternoon, on suspicion of communicating false information in relation to a bomb hoax.
150 people were evacuated from the 'One Stop' shop in Ipswich on Tuesday afternoon, after a suspicious package was found.
The man has been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds police station next month following further inquiries.
