A man who was drink driving and crashed his Porsche 911 and killed his passenger has been sentenced to 40 months in prison.
41 year old Shawn Smith of High Leas in Beccles appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today relating to the incident which happened last April on the A146 at Worlingham in Suffolk.
He'd already pleaded guilty at the court on the 28th January.
46 year old Brian Hunter Smith, also from Beccles, died in the collision when the sports car left the road and collided with trees and vegetation before it returned to the road where there was a second collision involving a green Vauxhall Astra.
Smith was also disqualified from driving for 4 years.
