Haverhill: Man Attacked In Underpass

A man's been punched and kicked in an attack in Haverhill.

The attack happened at 1.30am on Saturday 22 June in Strasbourg Square, near the entrance to the underpass.

The 21-year-old victim was walking across the square and as he approached the underpass, he saw a group of five men by the entrance who began walking towards him.

As the victim walked past the group, he was struck to the back of the head and subsequently suffered a number of punches before being kicked to the ground, at which point the suspects then left.

The victim believes he heard the suspects talking in an Eastern European language.
