Ipswich: Mobility Scooter 'Knocks Cyclist Into River'

Police are looking for a mobility scooter driver in Ipswich who is thought to have knocked a cyclist into a river and driven off.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the collision in Ranelagh Road at approximately 3pm on Monday 3 June.
The red mobility scooter collided with the cyclist, who was knocked into the river. The male cyclist sustained a cut to his back and pain to his torso.
The driver of the scooter, who failed to stop, is described as a woman, aged between 70 to 80-years-old, with 'mousey' coloured hair and was driving a red scooter with 'thick' wheels.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. Calls should be made to PC David Wright from Ipswich on 101.
