Ipswich: Teen Bailed After Double Assault

A teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm following an incident in Ipswich on Friday 1 February where two 17-year-old boys were assaulted has been bailed pending further enquiries.

It is after a teenager was found with a stab wound to his side at the Buttermarket shopping centre on Friday and another was found injured on Upper Brook Street.

The 17-year-old boy from Ipswich has been bailed to return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on 5 March 2013.

The 17-year-old boy who sustained a stab wound has been treated for his injury and discharged from Ipswich Hospital.
