IPSWICH: Teenager In Hospital After Assault
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of GBH with intent following an assault in Ipswich last night, which has left a 16-year-old boy in hospital.
The incident occurred at around 6:55pm yesterday, Wednesday 4 September, where the boy was struck to the head with a pole, whilst walking along Landseer Road.
The boy was taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital with a serious head injury where he remains today.
The 21-year-old man from Newmarket was arrested by officers earlier this afternoon and taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he awaits questioning.
