Kesgrave: Man Arrested After Knife Found

A 42-year-old man from Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of an offensive weapon and theft.

It's after police were called to reports of suspicious activity in the Fairbairn Avenue area of Kesgrave in Suffolk at around 10pm last night, Thursday 5th January. 

Police attended and spoke to a man who had been seen sat inside a vehicle. This led to a drugs search being made and tablets, powders, bladed articles and a quantity of metal, believed to be cable, were found.

A 42-year-old man, from Ipswich, was arrested and taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed by officers.

He has now been bailed to return to police on February 10, pending further enquiries.
