Little Cornard: Man Injured By Air Gun

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in Little Cornard, near Sudbury where a man was injured with air rifle pellets.
The incident happened at approximately 7pm last, Friday 4 January at an address in Chapel Lane, Little Cornard.
A 41-year-old man living at the address opened his door to let his dog out when he heard several shot noises and was then hit by pellets to his hand, head and neck.
The man went back into his house and heard a car drive off. He then called the ambulance service and was taken to Colchester Hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Chapel Lane, Little Cornard and noticed any suspicious activity or saw a car leaving the area at around 7pm last night, Friday 4 January.
