Little Legs For Life

Every year millions of pounds are raised for Cancer Research as women across the country run the 5k 'Race for Life' events. Now Heart has been finding out how children in Norfolk and Suffolk are getting involved as well.

Many children in the East Anglia region are affected by cancer in different ways and 'Little Legs for Life' allows them to take part and raise money for the research.

Catherine Sheppard who has helped organise the event, which takes place at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds today at 12pm, has been telling Heart how children - boys and girls - of all ages up to 12 years old are getting involved as they run, walk or get pushed in prams around the 'Little Legs' track. Children can go round the smaller version of the course as many times as they like with their families.

As well as the race track, there will be many other things to entertain including a bouncy castle and a crane ride. Music will also be provided and there will also be a raffle prize.
