A woman has been found dead at a house in Long Melford in Suffolk.
Police have been at the home at Chadburn Road in Long Melford after a woman was found earlier today.
Officers were contacted by the ambulance service around 10.20am this morning, Sunday 28 July, after the woman had been found at the property with a head injury.
The 63-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation is underway to determine how she sustained the injury.
Police say it is standard procedure to treat the death as unexplained pending the results of a post mortem examination and further enquiries at the scene.
