Lowestoft: Two Charged With Arson After Man Escapes House Fire

Two people have been charged with arson after a man managed to escape from a burning home in Lowestoft.
The man living at the home awoke early on Monday and quickly realised his home was on fire.
He got himself and his dog out of the property and saw flames were coming from the lean-to at the side of the address.
Police were called at 4.35am and immediately began treating the fire as arson.
Now two people have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
Claire Harris, a 32-year-old woman of Beechwood Gardens, Lowestoft and a 17-year-old boy also from Lowestoft are both due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrate Court on Thursday 2 January.
