Man Charged After Fatal A12 Crash

A man has been charged following a fatal crash on the A12 at Seckford, near Woodbridge, Suffolk on Sunday 19th February.

The crash, involving a blue Vauxhall Zafira and a black Honda motorcycle, happened on the northbound carriageway of the A12 at around 4pm.

Emergency services attended the scene but sadly the 33-year-old motorcyclist, Andrew Henderson from Colchester, Essex died.

The 57-year-old driver of the Zafira, David Simmons from Park Lane, Kirton in Suffolk has been charged with causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving, he has been released on bail and will be appearing at Ipswich Magistrates Court on 20 June 2012.
