An Ipswich man's been cleared of assaulting a woman in role play games inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey.
43 year old Steven Lock of Plover Road in Ipswich spoke of his relief at the verdict at Ipswich Crown Court today (January 22nd)
Lock, and a woman who can't be named for legal reasons, took part in role play inspired by the book - and a court heard how things had gone too far.
The jury also heard a "master-slave" sex session inspired by erotic novel had overstepped the boundaries of fantasy. Lock denied assault causing actual bodily harm, saying the woman had consented.
Mr Lock was cleared of actual bodily harm.
