Man Gets Trapped Under Jeep

A man who was trapped underneath a jeep has been flown to hospital with serious injuries in the early hours of this morning.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were alerted to a field in Pentlow, Sudbury in Suffolk at 0.17am to a report of a jeep that had rolled over and a man was trapped underneath. Ambulance crews from Braintree, Colchester and Weeley attended the scene.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The man who we believe to be 19-years-old sustained abdominal injuries and due to being trapped underneath the jeep for a long period and having potential internal injuries, he was airlifted by an RAF Seaking helicopter to Ipswich Hospital."
