Suffolk Police have received a Pathologist’s report outlining the cause of death of a man and woman whose bodies were found in Martlesham on Friday 16 December 2011.

The bodies of Davina Hamilton, 42, and John Parsons, 46, were found next to a grey Mitsubishi motor vehicle by a man on a farm track off Newbourne Road in Martlesham in Suffolk.

Post mortem examinations failed to establish a cause of death for either of the deceased, both from the Ipswich area, so further tests were carried out.

Following the further tests a Pathologist’s report has outlined that both Davina Hamilton and John Parsons’ cause of death was as a result of the combined effects of alcohol and mixed drug intoxication (oxycodone and zopiclone).
