Martlesham: Second Teenager Arrested

Police have been telling Heart that a second teenager's been arrested after an object was dropped of a bridge onto a main road.

 

He was arrested this morning, Tuesday 19, interviewed by officers and has also been bailed to return to police on July 17.

Another 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing a danger to road users after a a silver BMW sustained damage to its windscreen when an object was dropped on it as it drove along the A12 around 4am on Sunday 17 June.

A 41-year-old woman was driving along the A12 under the footbridge when she heard a bang and the windscreen of her vehicle cracked.

He was arrested this morning, Tuesday 19, interviewed by officers and has been bailed to return to police on July 17.

The first 15-year-old boy, from the Martlesham Heath area, was arrested yesterday evening, Monday 18 June, and taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed by officers. He has also now been bailed to return to police on July 17.
