Firefighters have had to rescue a driver from a car in Norfolk after heavy rain continues to cause rising river levels.

The woman called firefighters after the car got stuck in a ford in Newton Flotman.

They managed to get out of the car before the crews from Earlham and the Technical Rescue Unit and the Surface Rescue Boat from Carrow arrived.

There's more heavy rain all day today and flood alerts are still in place on the River Stour in Sudbury, the River Gipping in Stowmarket and the River Bure in Norfolk.
