SUFFOLK: Missing Prisoner Found

A prisoner who has been missing for the last three weeks has been found.

A man who absconded from a Suffolk prison earlier this month has been arrested in Peterborough today, Monday 29 October.

 

Lee Chapman, 34, was detained in South Bretton, Peterborough, this morning after escaping from Hollesley Bay prison on Monday, October 8.

 

Chapman, who was serving a life sentence for burglary and arson, was arrested on suspicion of absconding from custody and has been taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station.

 

Detective Inspector Benny Benford of Suffolk Police said:
