Three Charged after Serious Assault

Three men are due in court this morning following a serious assault over the weekend.

Suffolk Police charged three men following an attack in Stowmarket during the early hours of Saturday 17 September.

Darrell Malone, a 20-year-old unemployed man from Cardinalls Road in Stowmarket has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, two counts of wounding with intent and assault occasioning ABH. He was also charged with one count of burglary following an incident at a flat in London Road, Ipswich on 16 September.

Ian Starkie, a 20-year-old docker from Cranwell Cresent in Ipswich has today been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, two counts of wounding with intent and assault occasioning ABH.

Ethan Evans, a 20-year-old student from Lanark Road in Ipswich has today been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, two counts of wounding with intent and assault occasioning ABH.

They have been remanded in custody at the Bury Police Investigation Centre and are due to appear in Bury Magistrates Court today.

A 19-year-old woman from the Ipswich area has been released on police bail and is due to return to the Bury Police Investigation Centre on Wednesday 9 November 2011.
