Woodbridge: Teenager Critical After Car Hits Tree

A teenager's been seriously injured after a crash in Sutton near Woodbridge.

Police have told Heart they were contacted just after 2.45am this morning to reports a car had collided with a tree at Hollesley Road near the MoD Woodbridge base.
 
The 19-year-old man in the car, who was the only occupant of the blue Vauxhall Zafira, sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to Ipswich Hospital but is now being transferred to Addenbrookes and is described as being in a critical condition.
 
Police are investigating and are appealing for any sightings of the vehicle in the area prior to the collision.
