The Gatwick Half Marathon, presented by British Airways Run Gatwick, returns for its second year on Sunday 12th May 2019!
Heart is proud to be supporting British Airways Run Gatwick this year which is set in the beautiful West Sussex and Surrey countryside on fully closed roads around Gatwick Airport!
With a 5k, Half Marathon and Family Fun Run on offer, there's something for everyone to take part in!

Half Marathon & 5k
The half marathon and 5k are run on single-lap courses through beautiful rural Sussex countryside with no need to worry about cars – the roads are fully closed off to traffic. The races have staggered start times, chip timing, pacers, toilets en route, and re-fuelling stations to keep you going. There’s a bag drop, pre-race warm up, and a free post race massage tent to warm down and relax.
Family Run
The Family Run is a fantastic opportunity to get kids excited about running in a big event, where children aged 4 and up can take on the 1 mile challenge in and around the centre of Crawley on a safe traffic free route.
Everyone who finishes will receive an iconic, collectable British Airways Run Gatwick medal, a technical t-shirt and good-e bag!
Event Village
This event is so much more than just a fantastic running challenge. It’s an experience for all the community and family with a fantastic event village in Southgate Park offering mouthwatering food and drink, live music, giveaways, FREE Kids activities in the Vines BMW & Mini Kids Zone and much more.
