Brighton is preparing for a record breaking half marathon day this Sunday 24th February, as over 13,000 runners pound the streets and a further 10,000 line up to show their support.

The Grand Brighton Half Marathon, organised by The Sussex Beacon is now in its 29th year and set to be bigger and more exciting that ever before!

Head down to the Madeira Drive starting point and get involved with Jack and Nicola from Heart Breakfast who will be gearing up the athletes with racy jokes and running commentaries.

The Youth Race sets off at 9:00am with the Main Race setting off at 9:30am.

Whether you are sprinting, supporting or simply avoiding the road closures we have all the information you need to plan your day.

Head over to Twitter and follow @HeartSussex for updates and footage of the Grand Brighton Half Marathon day!
