Video footage released by police shows dangerous driver Colin Pollard speeding at 118mph as he tries to escape officers.

A marked police car had signalled for the 29-year-old to stop his silver Renault Laguna in Crawley, West Sussex, at 3.45am on December 7, but instead Pollard sped up to 80mph in the 40mph zone, driving the wrong way down a slip road and twice around a roundabout before exiting on the wrong side of the road.
Pollard was also seen driving at more than 90mph in a 30mph zone and reaching 98mph where the speed limit was 50mph, a Sussex Police spokesman said.
He was eventually stopped on the M23 where he reached speeds of 118mph, police said.
Pollard, from East Grinstead, was jailed for a year at Brighton Crown Court last week after he admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and failing to stop for police.
Chief Inspector Phil Nicholas, of Surrey and Sussex roads policing unit, said: "Pollard's driving put everyone else on the roads in danger.
"He was driving well above the speed limit, often on the wrong side of the road and if anyone had crossed his path there would have been a serious accident.
"The simple truth is that Pollard could have killed someone.
"He knew he shouldn't have been driving but didn't want to be arrested so instead gambled with his life and the lives of other drivers in the area.
"On this occasion he got away with only being jailed. On another night he could have been killed.''
