Hit And Run Victim Speaks Out

28 Year old Michelle Greest from Hove was left with ten breaks to various bones including her legs and hips as well as blood clots on the brain after she was knocked down in the early hours of Sunday 15th July. Doctors say it will be some time before she can walk again.

'Their next victim may not be as lucky as me.' She's been in hospital for more than a month with terrible injuries and now Michelle Greest is appealing for help to catch the men who knocked her over.

"Someone somewhere knows who was driving the car that hit me and did not stop. I don't know how anyone can do such a thing - knock a human being down and just drive on. Luckily I was with people who were able to call an ambulance for me and get me the urgent medical help that I needed. Please get in touch with Sussex Police if you have any information that could help find those responsible. What's to stop them doing the same thing again?"

Michelle was hit by a stolen dark grey Passat Estate as she crossed Kings Road at around 4.45am in the morning on Sunday 15th July.

Police believe the car that hit her was used a short time later in a ram raid at a wood flooding shop in Portslade as shown in our CCTV pictures.
