Man Attacked In Horley Car Park

Police are looking for a group of men who attacked another man with a piece of wood in Horley.

It happened as the victim, in his 40s, walked through the Iceland car park just after 1am yesterday.

He was left with a serious wound to his head - and two breaks in his foot.

Detective Constable Christine Turton from East Surrey Criminal Investigation Department, said: "This was a brutal and horrifying attack which has left the victim with two significant breaks to his foot and a serious wound to his head.

"I would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the assault or events leading up to the assault."
