Police are currently hunting for Carl Bond who jumped out of a court dock in Eastbourne this morning and is on the run.
Officers are appealing to the public who may have seen 20-year-old Bond running through Eastbourne town centre at around midday today (17 August) after he fled from the dock of Eastbourne Magistrates' Court in Old Orchard Road.
Bond, who is of no fixed address, is described as being around 6', with short light coloured hair and is said to be wearing a red top and blue jeans. He has a swollen right eye.
Officers are currently searching for Bond who has been charged with two counts of assault and breaching the sexual offenders' register. He was due to be sent back to prison when he escaped from the dock allegedly injuring two members of court staff.
