A man, woman and child suffered serious injuries after a collision between a car and a van in Warninglid on Tuesday (26 July).

Police were called to the incident on the B2115 Slough Green Lane at 1.45pm after a black Ford Mondeo and a white Citroen Berlingo collided.

The driver of the Ford, a 27-year-old woman from Haywards Heath, and two passengers, aged four and seven, were taken to St George’s Hospital, London.

A man, 50, from Burgess Hill, was the driver of the Citroen and he was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

Anyone who attended the scene but left before speaking to police or who saw what happened is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Derwent.
