The Summer Holidays Are Here!!

On this morning’s show we were getting all misty-eyed and nostalgic about the summer holidays

Erm…what is this wet stuff on the ground? Hello there rain. We’ve not seen you for a while.

This grey & cloudy stuff should soon disappear and make way for some more beautiful sunshine. Hurrah!

On this morning’s show we were getting all misty-eyed and nostalgic about the summer holidays. Do you remember how amazing it felt to have 6 weeks stretching out in front of you without a care in the world? Happy days. Lyns remembers spending weeks at her Nan’s house getting fed all her favourite foods and playing in the pub garden where her Nan worked at lunchtimes. Jack’s day usually involved getting into mischief with all his mates and Tom would have a big sleepover with 20 of his friends…who would each have their own room of course being as Tom grew up on a country estate! Larraine’s call was our favourite of the morning…her mum would leave her a £1 note and a train pass and she’d spend the day riding the tubes in London. Great adventure!

Also today we were celebrating the fact the royal baby finally has a name. It’s a good, strong, royal name too. We love it so welcome Prince George Alexander Louis! If you’re wondering how Kate & Wills came to their name decisions then wonder no more…Jack explains it all...

ON TOMORROW'S SHOW

Tomorrow is a big day on Heart Breakfast as we finally get to give away an incredible holiday to Palma, Majorca including a day island-hopping on a luxury £1m yacht. Wowsers! Plus Tom & Jack are off camping for the weekend which gives us a great excuse to ask about your camping disasters!
