TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BATTERSEA TRAINING SESSION PRIZE
Win a dog training session with Battersea on Heart Competition, June 2019
1. Rules
2. The following rules ("Specific Rules") together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) (the "Competition Terms and Conditions") of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to the Win a dog training session with Battersea competition (the "Competition") which will run from Monday 3rd June to Sunday 23rd June 2019 on Heart South. To the extent there is a conflict between the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions, the Specific Rules shall prevail.
3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
4. Details of the Competition:
4.1 To enter the competition an Entrant must go online to Heart.co.uk, answer the question and register their details. Online entries will open at 00:01 on Monday 3rd June and close on 23:59 on Sunday 23rd June 2019 ("Closing Date"). All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
4.2 Entrants will need to answer the question on the competition page to enter the Competition. A winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries.
4.3 The Promoter means Global Radio Services Ltd, as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions.
4.4 The Promoter will contact the winners by telephone within 28 days of the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
4.5 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize by 31 October 2019, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
5. Eligibility
5.1 The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over.
5.2 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are automatically generated by computer or completed by third parties or in bulk.
6. Prize
6.1 Battersea Dogs & Cats Home ("Battersea") will provide a 1-2-1 dog training sessions at either Battersea Windsor or Battersea Brands Hatch, a Furbo Dog Camera and a goody bag worth £100 of Battersea products to two winners. The following terms and conditions shall apply:
6.1.1 One winner will receive a prize of a 1-2-1 dog training session at Battersea Windsor, location to be confirmed by the winner. A Furbo Dog Camera and a goody bag worth £100 of Battersea products (the contents of which are subject to the availability of stock in Battersea stores, and is subject to the sole discretion of Battersea); and
6.1.2 One winner will receive a prize of a 1-2-1 dog training session at Battersea Brands Hatch, location to be confirmed by the winner. A Furbo Dog Camera and a goody bag worth £100 of Battersea products (the contents of which are subject to the availability of stock in Battersea stores, and is subject to the sole discretion of Battersea).
6.2 The 1-2-1 training sessions shall take place on a date after the Announcement Date and on or before 31 December 2019, subject to Battersea's availability and excluding weekends. This session will last up to three hours and will take place with a Battersea dog expert and a Battersea dog and will include a tour of the site and bespoke advice from the Battersea dog expert. The winner will not be entitled to bring in their own pet to the session. The location of the 1-2-1 training is subject to Battersea's availability and change in location is at Battersea's sole discretion.
6.3 The prizes do not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
6.4 The prize is not negotiable.
6.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
6.6 Competition entries cannot be returned.
7. Claiming the Prize
7.1 In order to claim the prize you must contact Battersea by [31 October 2019], on the contact details provided to you by the Promoter when you are notified that you are a winner.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7.5 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so, in particular, but not limited to the circumstance that the winner fails to comply with the Battersea risk assessment and safety briefing.
