Heart’s Big Skydive Ts&Cs

Fundraising incentives prize draw rules:

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Charities ("Global Charities") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.makesomenoise.com/terms-conditions/) apply to the ‘Global’s Make Some Noise Competition’ ("the Competition") as detailed in the Rules.
The "Radio Station" advertising the competition is Heart Network.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the competition:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to http://bigskydive.heart.co.ukand sign up as part of Heart’s Big Skydive. Entrants have from 00:01 on 8^thJuly 2019 until 23:59 31^stDecember 2019 (the “Fundraising Period”) to fundraise the most amount of money for Heart’s charity Global’s Make Some Noise to win the competition. In addition, an Entrant must have opted in to be included in the competition.
Entrants must sign up to Heart’s Big Skydive and schedule their skydive to take place before 31^stMarch 2020. By joining Heart’s Big Skydive, they agree to raise money for Heart’s charity Global’s Make Some Noise.
Each Entrant will be provided with an ‘everydayhero UK’ online fundraising page by the charity once they sign up.
The Entrant that raises the most amount of money paid into their online fundraising page during the Fundraising Period will be selected as the winner (“the Winner”). In the event that more than one person has raised the same top amount, they will be selected as joint winning Entrants. They will be contacted by a Global member of staff via the details provided at the point of registration within 28 days of the competition close date to be informed of their win.
The Entrants that have the top ten highest amounts of money paid into their online fundraising page during the Fundraising Period will be selected as the runners up. The top ten includes the Entrant(s) selected as the Winner(s). They will be contacted by a Global member of staff via the details provided at the point of registration within 28 days of the competition close date to be told they have won.
If an Entrant has set up a joint fundraising page between two or more people, the Entrant’s total will be counted as the total on the page divided by the number of people included in the group. Only one prize will be awarded per group registration.
For the avoidance of doubt any money paid into an Entrant’s fundraising page outside of the Fundraising Period (8^thJuly 2019 – 31^stDecember 2019), or money which is not included in the online fundraising page, will not count towards this competition.

Eligibility:

Entrants must be 16 or over to enter. Entrants who are under 18 must have parental consent to take part in Heart’s Big Skydive.
As per clause 4, Entrants who are participating in Heart’s Big Skydive must have opted in to this competition.

Prize:

WINNER’S PRIZE:

This is a rare opportunity for the winning Entrant to come and sit in on some of the Heart Breakfast Show and watch it broadcast live. You’ll also receive an overnight stay for you and a guest at the London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale plus breakfast. The winning Entrant(s) will also receive the runner’s up prize; a personal video message featuring Heart Breakfast presenters Jamie Theakston & Amanda Holden

OTHER:

Date to be arranged at a time that suits all within 6 months of the Winner being notified of the win
Winner will be allowed to bring a friend/partner
Prize does not guarantee participation on-air

Specific prize terms:

The prize is for the winning Entrant(s) (plus a friend/partner) selected as the top fundraiser(s) as of 31^stDecember 2019
The prize will be arranged at a date that is suitable for all involved within 6 months of the winning Entrant(s) being notified of the win
The winning Entrant(s) will be permitted to come and sit in on the show for 1 hour between 06:00-10:00. The time will be arranged for a mutually agreeable slot in the show.
The winning Entrant(s) and their friend/partner will not be guaranteed to participate on-air, but may well be asked
Overnight stay is for two people at London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale and includes breakfast at Carluccio’sMarriott Hotel Maida Vale
Hotel stay valid until 31^stDecember 2020 and subject to availability. Blackout dates apply. Please make your booking arrangements in advance. It cannot be extended or redeemed for cash or another alternative or sold by the winner. No change will be given if not fully redeemed.
No other travel, accommodation or expenses are included
The content of the prize may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value
Not for resale, not transferable, there is no cash alternative
Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion

14. RUNNER’S UP PRIZES:

The top ten fundraisers (including the winning Entrant(s)) will receive a personal video message featuring Heart Breakfast presenters Jamie Theakston & Amanda Holden.

Specific prize terms:

The prize is for one personalised video message to be recorded and sent to the runners up
The video will be sent to the runners up within 28 days of the competition closing
The runners up are not able to request for the video to contain specific content
Global reserves the right to substitute alternative Heart presenters dependent on Heart Breakfast presenters’ availability

15. PRIZE CONDITIONS:

Global will require the runner up’s name, contact number, postal address & email to facilitate the prize. Failure by the winner to accept the prize in the manner specified within 14 days after contact is made will make any claim invalid and Global’s Make Some Noise will then select the next highest fundraiser who will be contacted as above
Due to the nature of prize donations, please be aware that it can take several weeks to confirm and arrange
