2012 - A Year To Celebrate In Reading

Officials in Reading want to know how you'll be celebrating things like the Olympics and the Queen's Jubilee next year.

Heart's been told a website is being launched later, where events can be uploaded onto an interactive calender so everyone knows what's going on in Reading.

Andy Murrill is the Chair of the Reading 2012 Partnership Board, he told Heart it'll be beneficial for everyone to get involved:

"Strengthening communities bringing people together in street parties and communities across Reading for the Queen's Jubilee once people get to know their neighbours they'll feel better about the place they live and it will enhance their lives.

"What we're trying to do is grab as much stuff that's going on in Reading together in 2012 and present it to the public to really make this a year to celebrate in Reading."

Alongside encouraging communities to pull together to celebrate, they also hope the Olympics will create future ambassadors of sport.

It's all getting started later this morning... keep checking this page for a link to the page you need!
