A horse and a rabbit have died at an animal rescue centre in Oxfordshire, prompting the RSPCA to remove 79 other animals.
The charity, assisted by Thames Valley Police, spent three days over the weekend taking the animals away from the centre in Longworth, near Abingdon.
The RSPCA has retrieved 29 dogs, 13 horses and a number of chickens, goats, cats and a cockerel from the property.
A spokeswoman said concerns raised by a member of the public had prompted the action.
She added: "No arrests have been made but our investigations are ongoing.''
