Second Man In Court Over Oxford Murder

A second man's been in court over the murder of Dennis Witney in Oxford.

36 year old Wayne Cattell, who is currently in between addresses, has been charged with the murder of 39 year old Dennis Witney (who has no fixed address).

He was found lying on the ground with serious injuries in St Clements Street at 8:42pm on Wednesday 9th November.

He was taken to the JR2 hospital where he later died.

Wayne Cattell has appeared at Oxford Crown Court today (Friday 17th November).

29-year-old Daniel McCollin, from Oxford, has also been charged with murder and appeared at Oxford Crown Court today.

Both cases have been adjourned until February next year.

The two 28-year-old women, also arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on bail until January 2012.
