Thames Valley Police has now finsished searching land on Booker Common in Buckinghamshire after military equipment was found.
Officers were called to the area on Friday after getting a a call from someone who had discovered disturbed ground.
A search of the area was carried out and police found some military apparatus.
Supt Barry Halliday, the officer in charge of the operation, said:
"The item that we found was not dangerous and did not need to be made safe.
"I would again like to stress that we do not believe that the equipment that has been found at Booker Common is related to any type of terrorist activity.
"Police will continue to investigate how the equipment ended up at Booker Common."
