Carterton: Man Charged With Rape

A man has been charged with rape over an alleged attack on a teenage girl in Carterton in Oxfordshire.

The 15 year old was approached in the early hours of Saturday morning on 21st September 2013 as she walked through Shilton Park.

A 22 year old man from Witney, arrested on 26th September, has been charged with one count of rape.

He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court.  

Thames Valley Police are also telling us a 41 year old, questioned earlier in the week, has been released without charge.
