A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road crash in Didcot.

At around 11.35am yesterday, a black Renault Megane was in collision with a silver racing bicycle on a roundabout at the junction of Foxhall Road and Broadway.

The cyclist, a 67-year-old man, was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after suffering a serious head injury. He's in a critical condition.

The driver of the Renault Megane, a 24-year-old woman, was uninjured.

The road was closed for about three hours to allow for an investigation to take place.
