Election: Witney's Dramatic Recount

A West Oxfordshire Councillor has been re-elected after a bundle of missing votes were found under a pile of Tory ballots.

Witney's Duncan Enright had conceded telling followers on Twitter he had lost by around 70 votes.

It looked like another loss for the Councillor who stood against David Cameron in last year's UK Government elections.

Around an hour after this morning's votes were declared a bundle of ballot papers were found - so there was a recount.

There were just enough votes to ensure Mr Enright was re-elected.
