We're all invited to pay our respects at the funeral of a baby girl found dead in Oxford earlier this year.
On 29 February this year Thames Valley Police had a report from a member of the public they had found what they thought to be the body of a baby on a footpath off Edgeway Road in Marston.
Officers attended the scene and an inquest last month established the baby was stillborn.
Thames Valley Police and its partner agencies have appealed to the mother of the baby to come forward to ensure she receives emotional support.
Det Insp Jim Holmes, from Oxford Force CID has said: “We have worked closely with staff from Oxford City Council who have arranged a funeral service. This is to ensure that Raihana is laid to rest in a respectful way. This will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 18 October at Wolvercote Cemetery, Oxford.
“We know how much the local community has been affected and members of the public who wish to pay their respects at the funeral are invited to do so.”
