A man has been shot in the chest at Windsor Racecourse.
It happened around 8:30pm Saturday night in the VIP area of the 'Tea Party Festival'.
Police say the victim heard a quiet "cap gun'' sound on the dancefloor before realising he was hurt.
The 27-year-old is recovering in hospital.
Detectives describe the suspect as a black man in his 30s.
Officers are particularly urging anyone with photographs or video footage from the night to come forward and are asking people to check their phones to see if they have any.
