Concern is growing for a woman from Basingstoke who's now been missing for two weeks.

Leanne Turnbull, 34, was last seen at Sainsbury’s in Alton at about 9.15am on Wednesday, September 14 and then at 1st Gear Bike shop on the town's High Street.

Miss Turnbull, who lives in Stubbs Road in Basingstoke, had been staying at her partner's house in Orchard Lane in Alton.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare as she suffers from epilepsy and it is believed she hasn’t got any medication with her.

Today they carried out stop checks outside the bike shop and handed out 600 leaflets, hoping to jog someone's memory.

Detective Constable Elaine Cawkill said:

"If you have seen Leanne or know where she is, please contact me immediately. Equally I appeal to Leanne herself to get in touch and let me know she’s okay."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Alton or Winchester CID on 101 or via the website.

You can also call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
